CALPOL Sugar Free Infant Suspension is a trusted strawberry-flavoured oral liquid designed to provide soothing relief for babies and young children. This infant-strength paracetamol formula is ideal for managing fever (including post-immunisation fever) and various minor aches such as sore throats, earaches, and teething pain. The sugar-free syrup is designed to be gentle on sensitive tummies while the provided syringe allows for precise, mess-free administration.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Paracetamol (120mg per 5ml).
Other Ingredients: Maltitol Liquid, Sorbitol Solution (E420), Glycerol, Microcrystalline Cellulose and Carmellose Sodium, Xanthan Gum, Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Polysorbate 80, Strawberry Flavour (containing Propylene G
Suitable For
Babies and children aged 2 months to 6 years. Infants must weigh over 4kg and not have been born prematurely (before 37 weeks).
Instruction
Shake the bottle for 10 seconds before use.
Remove the cap and insert the syringe into the hole in the neck of the bottle.
2–3 Months: 2.5ml per dose. A second dose may be given after 4–6 hours if needed.
3–6 Months: 2.5ml per dose.
6–24 Months: 5ml per dose.
2–4 Years: 7.5ml per dose.
4–6 Years: 10ml per dose.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 4 doses in any 24-hour period.
Warning
Contains paracetamol. Do not use with any other paracetamol-containing products.
Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected, even if the child appears well.
Do not give to babies under 2 months of age.
Consult a doctor if your child is taking other medications or if symptoms persist.
Contains Carmoisine (E122) which may cause allergic reactions.
