Usage Instruction:
Installation: This appliance must be installed by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer (UK) or certified gas technician (EU) in accordance with local gas safety regulations and the provided manual.
Operation: Turn the rotary knob for the desired burner counter-clockwise to the ignition position. A spark will automatically ignite the gas. Adjust the flame to your chosen power level (1-9) using the Preci Flame markings.
During Use: Use flat-bottomed pans suitable for gas hobs. Ensure pans are centred on the cast iron supports. Do not slide pans across the glass surface to avoid scratching.
After Use: Turn the knobs to the 'off' position. Allow the hob and supports to cool completely before cleaning.
Cleaning: Wipe the glass surface with a recommended ceramic hob cleaner and a soft cloth. Clean the cast iron supports separately with warm soapy water, ensuring they are completely dry before replacing.
Safety Warning
DANGER – Gas & Fire Hazard: This appliance uses flammable gas. Installation, connection, and any servicing must be performed by a qualified gas technician. Do not use if you smell gas. In case of a gas leak, shut off the gas supply, ventilate the area, and contact your gas supplier immediately.
WARNING – Burn Hazard: The glass surface, pan supports, and burners become extremely hot during and after use. Keep children away. Always use the pan supports; do not place cookware directly on the glass.
CAUTION – Glass Surface: The tempered glass can be damaged by impacts, sharp objects, or sudden temperature changes (e.g., cold water on a hot surface). Do not use cracked or chipped glassware.
IMPORTANT – Correct Use: This hob is for household cooking only. Do not use it as a work surface or storage area. The Flame Failure Device is a safety backup; do not rely on it as a substitute for vigilant supervision.
