Usage Instructions

1. Wireless Connection (via USB Receiver): Insert the provided USB nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Turn on the mouse by sliding the power switch on the bottom to the "ON" position. The mouse should automatically pair and be ready to use. A status light may briefly illuminate.

2. Bluetooth Pairing (if applicable): If your mouse supports Bluetooth, turn it on. On your computer, go to the Bluetooth settings (e.g., on Windows: Settings > Bluetooth & devices). Turn on Bluetooth on your PC, select "Add device," and choose the "HP Z3700" from the discovered list to complete pairing.

3. Basic Operation & Customization: Use the left, right, and clickable scroll wheel for standard navigation. The DPI button, if present, cycles through preset sensitivity levels. For advanced button programming or customization, you may need to download the "HP Mouse Driver" or accessory software from the HP support website.

4. Power Management: The mouse is powered by one or two AA batteries (check the compartment). To conserve battery life, the mouse will enter a sleep mode after a period of inactivity; move it or click a button to wake it. Slide the power switch to "OFF" when not in use for extended periods.

5. Surface Compatibility: For optimal tracking performance, use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective, and non-glossy surface. A standard mouse pad is recommended. The optical sensor is located on the bottom; ensure it is not obstructed.
