Usage Instruction
Installation: Place the blanket flat on the mattress, ensuring the side with the wiring faces upwards. Secure it using the fitted elastic straps or corners to keep it flat and in position. Place your regular fitted sheet over the blanket.
Controller Connection: Plug the controllers into the mains socket, then connect them to the sockets on the blanket, ensuring a firm connection. The controllers must be kept off the bed and placed on a bedside table or similar stable surface.
Operation: Turn on each controller using its switch and select the desired heat setting (High, Medium, Low) for each side of the bed. The LED light will indicate the selected setting and power status. The blanket will automatically switch off after 12 hours.
Daily Use: Always switch the controllers OFF and unplug them from the mains before getting into or out of bed. The blanket is designed to pre-warm the bed and should not be used with the controllers ON while you are in direct contact with it for prolonged periods.
Cleaning & Storage: Always disconnect and remove the controllers before cleaning. Follow the washing instructions on the care label. Do not dry clean, iron, or wring the blanket. Allow it to air dry completely before re-use. Store loosely rolled in a cool, dry place.
Safety Warning
Intended Use: This under blanket is designed to warm the bed before use. It is not intended to be used as a primary heating source or as an over blanket (duvet). Do not use while folded, tucked in, or with pets or heavy objects on top.
Electrical Safety: Do not use if the blanket, cord, or controller is damaged. Never use with an extension lead or adapter. Do not pierce the blanket with pins.
Controller Placement: The controllers must not be placed on the bed, under pillows, or under any bedding. They must be kept in a well-ventilated area off the sleeping surface.
Risk of Burns: Do not use this blanket with infants, persons with diabetes, circulation issues, or those insensitive to heat. Excessive heating can cause skin burns.
Inspection: Regularly check the blanket for any signs of damage, such as folds, creases, or exposed wires, and discontinue use immediately if any are found.
