Usage Instruction:
Voltage Selection (if applicable): Before plugging in, ensure the voltage switch (if present) is set to match your local mains voltage (120V or 240V). Some dual-voltage models switch automatically.
Filling & Heating: Unfold the handle. Fill the small water tank with clean tap water using the provided measuring cup. Do not overfill. Set the temperature dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric. Plug in and wait for the ready/indicator light to signal that the iron has reached temperature.
Ironing: Use the steam button for continuous steam or the spray button for a targeted burst of water on tough wrinkles. For dry ironing, ensure the steam function is off. Always test on an inconspicuous area of the fabric first.
After Use: Empty any remaining water from the tank. Set the temperature dial to minimum, unplug the iron, and allow it to cool completely on its heel. Fold the handle for storage.
Cleaning: Wipe the cool soleplate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Ensure the iron is completely dry before storing.
Safety Warning
Voltage Check: Crucially, verify your local voltage before use. If a manual voltage selector switch is present, ensure it is correctly set. Using the wrong voltage can damage the iron and pose a fire or shock hazard.
Burn Hazard: The soleplate and water tank become very hot during use. Never touch these parts. Always use the handle. Keep the iron out of reach of children during and after use.
Electrical Safety: Plug directly into a suitable power outlet. Do not use if the cord or plug is damaged. Ensure the cord does not come into contact with the hot soleplate.
Water & Steam Safety: Use only clean tap water. Do not overfill. Never direct steam towards people, animals, or electrical equipment. Unplug before filling or emptying the water tank.
Child Safety: This appliance is not a toy. Do not allow children to operate it. Supervise children in the area to ensure they stay away from the iron and cord.
Stable Storage: Always store the iron upright on its heel after it has cooled completely. Never leave a hot iron resting on its soleplate or on any fabric.
