Cod liver oil is a very good source of omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) and vitamins A and D. EPA and DHA contribute to the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system. Vitamin A supports good vision and, together with vitamin D, helps the immune system to function optimally. Omega 3 fatty acids show cardioprotective effects including anti arrhythmic effects, lowering blood pressure, and stabilising atherosclerotic plaque. DHA additionally supports brain function and good vision. Produced in Norway using molecular distillation.
