Usage Instructions
Cooking required. Not ready to eat directly.
Sort and rinse: Pick over beans to remove any debris, then rinse thoroughly under cold water.
Soak (recommended) : Soak beans in water for 4-8 hours or overnight to reduce cooking time.
Cook: Drain soaked beans, add fresh water (3 parts water to 1 part beans), bring to a boil, then simmer for 45-60 minutes until tender.
Sweeten (optional) : For desserts, add sugar during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking.
