Detailed Product Description
This 93mm EVA sanding pad transforms oscillating multi-tools into precision finishing instruments. The open-backed design maximizes flexibility for sanding contoured surfaces, while the hook & loop system securely holds standard abrasives. Compatible with major brands including Silverline, GMC, and Triton, it works with both tool-free quick-change mechanisms and traditional bolt-on systems. The shock-absorbing EVA foam minimizes vibration transfer for comfortable operation during detailed woodworking, drywall finishing, and restoration projects.
Direction for Use
To install the sanding pad, align the pad’s mounting hole with the tool head and press until locked for tool-free systems. For threaded systems, secure the pad with the included bolt if applicable. When applying the abrasive, cut the hook & loop sanding sheet to a 93mm size and press it firmly onto the pad surface. During operation, start the tool at medium speed (10,000-15,000 OPM) and apply light pressure while moving along the workpiece contours. Replace the abrasive when it becomes clogged or worn. To remove, peel off the spent abrasive sheet. For tool-free systems, depress the release lever to detach the pad.
Materials
Pad Body: Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. Backing Plate: Glass-reinforced nylon. Hook Surface: Nylon loops with industrial adhesive. Mounting Interface: Powder-coated steel insert.
Product Warnings
Always wear CE-certified safety goggles and a dust mask. Verify compatibility with your multi-tool model before use. Never exceed the 20,000 OPM maximum speed. Disconnect power before changing abrasives or pads. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent pad deformation. Do not submerge in liquids. Replace if the EVA foam cracks or the backing plate warps. Keep away from heat sources above 70°C.
