SMA Little Steps First Infant Ready to Drink Milk is a nutritionally complete breastmilk substitute, specially formulated to provide your baby with balanced nutrition from birth onwards. This ready-to-feed liquid formula is UHT sterilised for safety and convenience, requiring no powder mixing — simply shake the carton, pour the required amount into a sterilised feeding bottle, and serve at room temperature or warmed as desired. Enriched with plant-based DHA (Omega-3) sourced from algae, which contributes to normal visual development in infants, this milk supports your baby's nutritional needs as a sole source of nutrition from birth. Babies who have 500ml or more (about a pint) of Little Steps First Infant Milk a day will not need additional Vitamin D supplements.

Direction for Use
Wash hands well. Wash and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer's instructions.
If carton is damaged in any way, do not use. Shake carton well and unscrew cap. Pour desired amount into a sterilised bottle and add sterilised teat and cap. Replace plastic cap on carton.
Little Steps First Infant Milk can be fed at room temperature. If required to heat, stand filled bottle in warm water, do not immerse the teat.
Before feeding shake the bottle well. If warmed, test temperature by shaking a few drops onto the inside of your wrist — milk should be lukewarm.
Storage
Before opening store in a cool dry place (4-25°C) away from direct light. For best before end date see top of carton. Once opened, reseal carton and store only in the fridge (5°C or below) and use within 24 hours. Do not freeze.

Check ingredients for any allergens. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Breast milk is best for babies and breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible. When bottle-feeding, do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with teeth as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Always hold your baby while feeding.
