Unlike many K2 supplements that use soybeans, we ferment chickpeas to avoid potential GMOs and allergens. This formula provides the highly biologically active all trans MK7 form of vitamin K2, which is 10 times more efficiently absorbed than vitamin K1 from spinach. While vitamin K1 disappears from circulation quickly, the MK7 form in this supplement lasts far longer in the body. The formula also includes a base of coconut oil to improve absorption of this fat soluble vitamin.
