Materials
High-grade aluminium body with a bonded steel induction base, tempered glass lids, and a Black Diamond ceramic non-stick coating that is strictly PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, and cadmium-free.
Installation & Maintenance
Before the first use, wash all pans in warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly. While this set is dishwasher safe for maximum convenience, hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of the Black Diamond coating and maintain its superior non-stick properties. Use silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to prevent scratching the ceramic surface. To maintain the Softtex handles, ensure they are not positioned directly over heat sources on gas hobs. For optimum performance, allow pans to cool completely before submerged in water to avoid thermal warping.
Safety Warnings
Burn hazard: always use the ergonomic handles and exercise caution as the glass lids and steam vents can become extremely hot during the cooking process. Do not leave empty pans on a high heat source for extended periods, as this can damage the non-stick coating and the aluminium structure. Ensure the pans are placed centrally on hobs to maintain stability, especially when using the smaller saucepans. Keep handles turned away from the edge of the stove to prevent accidental tipping, and store the set securely to avoid heavy impact on the tempered glass lids.
