Always place the toaster on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from edges, walls, cabinets, and any flammable materials. Ensure proper ventilation.
Before first use, operate the toaster once without bread to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure the room is well-ventilated.
Plug the appliance into a suitable mains power socket only. Use only for its intended purpose of toasting bread products.
Insert bread slices into the slots, ensuring they are not too thick to impede the carriage lever. Never insert anything other than bread products (e.g., no metal utensils, pastries with runny toppings).
Select the desired browning level using the control dial for the relevant slot pair (1-5). Use the Defrost button if toasting frozen bread.
Press the carriage lever down until it locks. Toasting will begin. To cancel, press the Cancel button.
Once toasting is complete, the carriage will rise automatically. Use the High-Rise Lift function to retrieve smaller items safely. Unplug the appliance after use.
Allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning. Empty the crumb tray regularly by sliding it out from the bottom of the appliance. Wipe the exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
