This product is Pirinase Hayfever Once Daily 0.05% Nasal Spray Solution, delivering 60 sprays. It is designed to provide effective relief from the major symptoms of hay fever and other airborne allergies. Its active ingredient, fluticasone propionate, works as an anti-inflammatory agent to reduce swelling and irritation in the nasal passages. This once-daily spray offers up to 24 hours of relief from nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy, runny nose, allowing for comfortable breathing and symptom control.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Fluticasone Propionate 0.05% w/w (50 micrograms per spray). Also contains: Dextrose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Polysorbate 80, Purified Water, Hydrochloric Acid, Benzalkonium Chloride, Phenylethyl Alcohol. Always read the label before use.
Suitable For
Suitable for adults aged 18 years and over for the relief of symptoms associated with hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and other airborne allergies, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes. Not for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
Instruction
Dosage: The usual starting dose for adults is 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. Do not exceed 2 sprays in each nostril in a 24-hour period. Once symptoms are controlled, the dose can be reduced to 1 spray in each nostril once daily. Use the lowest effective dose.
Method of Use: Shake the bottle gently before each use. Blow your nose gently to clear the nostrils. Tilt your head forward slightly, insert the nozzle into one nostril, and spray while breathing in gently through your nose. Repeat for the other nostril. Use preferably in the morning. Avoid spraying directly onto the nasal septum.
Warning
For nasal use only. Do not spray into the eyes or mouth.
Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience irritation, nosebleeds, or worsening symptoms.
Do not use for more than one month continuously without consulting your doctor.
Do not use if you are allergic to fluticasone propionate or any of the other ingredients.
Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medicines for HIV infection.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment.
Storage
Storage Conditions: Store below 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.
Use within 3 months of first opening the bottle. Do not use after the expiry date.
