USAGE INSTRUCTION:
- Place the 6.5L slow cooker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface and plug it into a compatible power outlet.
- Add your prepared ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) into the removable crockpot— do not fill beyond the maximum capacity line (6.5L).
- Stir the ingredients gently and place the glass lid onto the crockpot, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Select one of the 3 heat settings (low, medium, high) using the control knob on the base unit; refer to recipe guidelines for recommended cooking times per setting.
- Cook the food for the desired duration, using the cool touch handles to move the crockpot (if needed) — do not lift the lid frequently to avoid heat loss.
- After cooking, turn the control knob to the off position and unplug the slow cooker from the power outlet.
- Allow the crockpot to cool slightly before removing it from the base unit; transfer the food to a serving dish.
- Clean the removable crockpot and glass lid with warm, soapy water (dishwasher safe); wipe the base unit with a damp cloth (do not immerse).
- WARNING: Do not touch the hot crockpot, lid, or base unit during cooking— surfaces are extremely hot and will cause burns.
- WARNING: Do not use the slow cooker without the crockpot in place— this will damage the base unit’s heating element.
- Do not immerse the base unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid— clean only with a damp cloth.
- Do not cook frozen food directly in the slow cooker— thaw food completely in the fridge first to avoid foodborne illness.
- Keep the slow cooker out of reach of children and pets; do not let children touch the cool touch handles when the unit is hot.
- Do not use the slow cooker for frying or boiling food— intended for slow cooking only.
- Unplug the slow cooker if it overheats or malfunctions; contact TOWER customer support for repairs— do not attempt to fix it yourself.
- Do not place the hot crockpot on a cold or wet surface— this may cause the crockpot to crack due to thermal shock.
